God is Knocking at your Doorstep….
Will you let him in?
I came up with this message after one night of driving home from work. I was listening to gospel songs and every song that came on started to minister to my spirit.
I started to worship
I started praying
I started crying out
One specific song came on by Psalmist Raine “We welcome you here”
As the song played, I started getting this image of a Home, a welcome mat at the door step and all of the rooms in the home. That home represents me and it represents us!!
I just cried out and said to the Lord, ” I welcome you in”.
In my heart
In my mind
In my spirit
In every area of my life.
Invite him in!!
Give him access to each room^^
Let him bless your home, saturate the atmosphere with his love, presence, peace and more, removing and clearing out what’s not needed and has to go!!
Again, welcome him and invite him in!
He’s right at your doorstep.
I hope those who reads this are blessed by it.
My Pastor spoke this today and it completely went deep in my spirit.
I struggle with fear, negative thinking and have suffered depression and I’ve always had understanding that there’s complete freedom in Christ, but would still let these things keep me enslaved.
Sometimes, Christ will deliver us from something(s) and we will turn back to it, allowing ourselves to be back in the same position.
No longer shall I or anyone be a slave or held Captive by these things or things that are untrue, keeping us back or keeping us down.
Today I was doing my studying on Love and I’ve come to realize that today in the world, we often have a misconception of what love truly is and what it means.
Love is beautiful… and it’s powerful!! It’s the best thing!!!
We are often deceived by what we think it looks like or feel like.
Some of us are in toxic and unhealthy relationships and we confuse negative or ridiculous actions by our partners or significant others as love?
For an example: if your partner or friend is being controlling, you look at it as that being a way they show you how they love you… I’m not trying to go off topic here, but make sense of it all.
How about, we choose who we are going to love? That isn’t love.
Love should be easily giving, felt and spread all over.
So, let me remind you of what love is and what it does.
❤1 John 4:8
He who does not love, does not know God, for God is Love.
GOD IS LOVE. ❤❤❤
This is my commandment: that you love one another, as I have loved you.
( love isn’t just choosing who you want or are going to love)
14 Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends.
❤ Love is selfless!! Not selfish!! It’s sacrificing.
Christ laid down his life for us. That’s true love!!
❤1 Corinthians 13:4-7
I enjoyed this and was truly blessed by it, I hope you who reads this are as well!!
